Georgia senior quarterback Aaron Murray will have ACL surgery on his left knee, USA Today reported Sunday.

The report stated that Murray’s mother, Lauren Murray, posted the announcement on Facebook. The school has not released information about the extent of the injury.

Murray was injured during Saturday’s 59-17 blowout win over Kentucky.

Murray finishes his collegiate career as the SEC’s all-time leading passer with 13,166 yards with 121 touchdowns. He started 52 straight games for the Bulldogs and nearly led them to a national championship in 2012, falling just short to Alabama.

Murray opted to return for his senior season instead of the NFL draft. He completed nearly 65 percent of his passes with 26 touchdowns and nine interceptions, but Georgia is just 7-4 with one game left at Georgia Tech.
