G Beadles moves from Broncos to Jags

The Jacksonville Jaguars reached agreement on Tuesday with former Denver Broncos guard Zane Beadles on a five-year, $30 million contract that includes $13 million guaranteed, according to a report.

Beadles was expected to sign a contract when he passed a physical, ESPN reported.

“He could really flourish with us,” Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell said.

Beadles was a second-round draft pick by the Broncos in 2010 and started 62 of 64 games in four seasons. He played every snap last season after being named to the Pro Bowl a year earlier.

The Jaguars also announced that they re-signed cornerback Will Blackmon to a two-year deal and traded quarterback Blaine Gabbert to San Francisco for a sixth-round draft pick. The team also has a visit lined up from free-agent linebacker Dekoda Watson.

The Jaguars have openings on the offensive line after guard Uche Nwaneri was released and center Brad Meester retired. Beadles is expected to start alongside second-year tackle Luke Joeckel next season.
