Florida State announced Monday that running back Chris Thompson is out for the rest of the season with an injured left knee.
The injury occured after he made a 32-yard reception in the second quarter of the Seminoles’ 33-20 win over Miami on Saturday.
Thompson had six rushes for 47 yards. For the season, he has a team-high 687 rushing yards and 248 receiving.
Thompson missed a significant portion of last year with a serious back injury.
