The Atlanta Falcons placed fullback Bradie Ewing on injured reserve Saturday and replaced him with fullback Lousaka Polite. They also signed tight end Chase Coffman and waived tight end Adam Nissley and punter Dawson Zimmerman.
Ewing, a fifth-round pick this year out of Wisconsin, suffered a knee injury on special teams Thursday against the Baltimore Ravens.
Polite spent the past three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.
Coffman, a former third-round pick by the Cincinnati Bengals, spent the 2011 season on the Bengals’ practice squad.
