Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick left Monday’s preseason game against New England with a rib injury, the second straight game an injury has forced him out of a game.

Vick was knocked out of Monday’s game after taking a hit from Patriots defensive end Jermaine Cunningham in the first quarter.

Vick stayed on the ground for a few moments, but walked off under his own power.

X-rays of his ribs revealed no fracture, ESPN reported.

Vick left the Eagles’ first preseason game after hitting the thumb on his left hand on a helmet. That injury proved to be minor.

Fantasy analysis: Vick should be OK, but monitor his status. After this injury, however, don’t look for Vick to see much more preseason action.
