The Philadelphia Eagles re-signed wide receiver Arrelious Benn on Monday.

The Eagles cut Benn on Friday so they would not have to pay him a guaranteed $1.1 million from his contract. The team re-signed him to work out a new deal that is believed to be at the league minimum.

Benn missed all of last season with a torn ACL. He is likely a No. 4 or 5 receiver on the Eagles’ roster, but he is familiar with coach Chip Kelly’s offense.

Despite releasing DeSean Jackson in March, the Eagles have several options at receiver. Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin are expected to start on the outside and rookie Jordan Matthews could start in the slot. They also have Darren Sproles and Josh Huff on the roster.
