Free agent defensive tackle Sammie Lee Hill is leaving Detroit for the chance to be a full-time player with the Tennessee Titans.
Hill has agreed to a three-year, $11.4 million deal. NFL Network reported his deal includes $4 million guaranteed.
Hill, 6-4, 329, hasn’t started since 2009 as a rookie because of the presence of first-round picks Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley. He’s 26 and experienced enough that the Titans could view him as a breakout candidate.
