Defensive lineman Vaughn Martin signed with the Miami Dolphins. Terms were not disclosed.
Martin was a fourth-round pick of the San Diego Chargers in 2009 and has three career sacks while starting 27 of 48 games over the past four seasons. He provides versatility as Martin can play defensive end or tackle.
“We are excited that Vaughn is a member of the Dolphins,” said Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland. “He is an athletic player that we feel will make a positive impact and bring depth to the the defensive side of the ball.”
Martin, 6-feet-4, 297 pounds played his college football at Western Onterio, where he contributed to the Mustangs winning Canada’s national title.
