Dan D’Antoni, the older brother of new Lakers head coach Mike D’Antoni, will serve as a Lakers’ assistant coach this season, the team announced Sunday.
Dan D’Anton, 65, spent the past four seasons as an assistant coach with the New York Knicks when Mike D’Antoni was head coach for the Knicks.
He also was an assistant coach for the Suns during Mike D’Antoni’s final three seasons with Phoenix.
