The Dallas Mavericks brought back free-agent center Samuel Dalembert and re-signed forward Charlie Villanueva on Thursday.
Dalembert signed the Mavericks for a second go-round with the team. He was with the Mavs during the 2013-14 season and averaged 6.6 points and 6.8 rebounds while starting 68 of 80 games before being shipped to the New York Knicks in a trade.
The Haitian-born Dalembert has career averages of 7.7 points and 7.8 rebounds in 886 games with the Philadelphia 76ers, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, Mavericks and Knicks.
Villaneuva averaged 6.3 points and 2.3 rebounds while playing in 64 games for the Mavericks last season.
