Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo does not need an MRI because of a back strain he sustained during Sunday’s 19-13 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, ESPN Dallas reported Monday.
Romo said after the game he is fine, despite walking gingerly.
Also, nose tackle Jay Ratliff has a sprained left ankle but not a high ankle sprain, which the team initially feared. He was hurt in the second quarter but returned on a limited basis in the second half.
He is expected to play this Sunday at the Philadelphia Eagles.
Ratliff missed the first four games of the season because of a high ankle sprain to the same foot.
