
Forward Chris Copeland, who was stabbed outside a New York City nightclub in April, reportedly has agreed to a contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The deal is worth $1.1 million for one year, ESPN.com reported Thursday.
Copeland, who is 6 feet 8 and 235 pounds, suffered a knife wound to his left elbow and abdomen and also suffered a fractured elbow during an altercation outside a club on April 8. He underwent surgery immediatelay after the incident and spent the rest of the season rehabilitating.
In Milwaukee, Copeland will be reunited with coach Jason Kidd, who played with Copeland on the New York Knicks in 2012-13.
In three NBA seasons, Copeland has averaged 6.4 points and 1.8 rebounds in 13.3 minutes per game. Last season, he averaged 6.2 points in 16.6 minutes per game.
