Indianapolis Colts wide receiver LaVon Brazill was suspended without pay for the first four games of the regular season for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse, the league announced Monday.

Brazill is eligible to return to the Colts’ active roster on Sept. 30. He can participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.

The Colts drafted Brazill in the sixth round last year. As a rookie, he made 11 catches for 186 yards with a touchdown in 15 games.
