Terrelle Pryor was waived by the Kansas City Chiefs, who had five quarterbacks on the active roster.
Pryor, drafted by the Raiders, was previously released by the Seattle Seahawks.
Kansas City waived three other players Tuesday: linebacker JoJo Dickson, long-snapper Jorgen Hus and wide receiver Corbin Louks.
Pryor is a tremendous athlete at 6-5, 230 pounds and some have suggested his only lasting NFL position would be wide receiver, a position he did not play at Ohio State or either of his pro stops — Raiders (2011-2013) and last offseason with the Seattle Seahawks.
