The Kansas City Chiefs announced via Twitter on Monday that they visited Florida defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd.
The Chiefs have the No. 1 pick in next month’s draft.
The announcement includes a photo of defensive line coach Tommy Brasher drilling with Floyd in Florida’s stadium.
NFLDraftScout.com, published by The Sports Xchange in partnership with CBSSports.com, ranks Floyd the No. 4 prospect in the draft. Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel is ranked No. 1.
Floyd, a 6-foot-3, 303-pound junior, made 46 tackles, including 13 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks, and was an all-SEC first team selection last season.
