Justin Houston is back at practice after missing all of December with a knee injury, and the All-Pro pass rusher expects to be on the field in Houston on Sunday against the Texans.

Houston suffered a sprained MCL in the Nov. 29 game against the Buffalo Bills.
He returned to practice Jan. 1 and was listed as questionable entering Week 17 against the Oakland Raiders but ultimately did not play.

Head coach Andy Reid said the Chiefs have seen significant improvement and expect Houston to play Saturday in the wild-card playoff game.

Outside linebacker Tamba Hali (thumb) and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (hip) missed practice Tuesday. Maclin downplayed his injury after practice and said he landed hard during Sunday’s win over the Raiders but will be fine.
