Chargers sign All-Pro C Corey Linsley to $62.5M deal

All-Pro center Corey Linsley signed a five-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The team is set to introduce Linsley and reportedly will pay him $62.5 million over the lifetime of the deal.

Linsley allowed a league-best one quarterback pressure during the 2020 season with the Green Bay Packers. By comparison, Chargers starter Dan Feeney gave up 33 pressures last season, more than any center in the NFL in 2020.

In addition to re-signing cornerback Michael Davis to a three-year deal, the Chargers also officially announced offensive guard Matt Feiler (Steelers) signed Wednesday. Terms were not available.

Earlier in the week the Chargers released cornerback Casey Heyward.
