The Golden State Warriors acquired guards Jordan Crawford and MarShon Brooks from the Boston Celtics in a trade on Wednesday, Yahoo! Sports reported.
The Celtics will receive Toney Douglas from the Warriors and a draft pick from another team as part of the deal.
The Warriors were in search of backcourt depth that they hope Crawford and Brooks will provide behind starting guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
Crawford is having one of his best seasons. The 25-year-old averaged 13.7 points, 5.7 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game for the Celtics.
Brooks, 24, has played in 10 games with the Celtics this season and is averaging 3.1 points. He also has spent time with the Celtics’ Developmental League team.
The 27-year-old Douglas saw action in 24 games with the Warriors this season and averaged 3.7 points and 1.1 rebounds.
The Celtics are expecting guard Rajon Rondo to return this week after being sidelined since last season with a knee injury.
