The Washington Redskins signed free-agent cornerback E.J. Biggers to a contract on Wednesday, the team announced.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
A former seventh-round draft pick by Tampa Bay, Biggers has 153 tackles, three interceptions, 27 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one sack during his four-year NFL career. He started 12 games last season for the Buccaneers and had 48 tackles.
Biggers, 25, will be reuinted in Washington with Redskins defensive bakcs coach Raheem Morris, who was Biggers’ head coach at Tampa Bay.
