
The Cleveland Cavaliers recalled center Sasha Kaun and guard Jordan McRae on Wednesday from the Canton Charge after they played in Game 1 of the NBA Development League Eastern Conference finals.
In Canton’s game Tuesday night, Kaun finished with 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting, nine rebounds, three steals and three blocks in 30 minutes while McRae added 21 points, four rebounds and five assists in 46 minutes.
Kaun has played in 24 games for the Cavs this season and McRae has played in 21 games (14 for the Cavs). Both will be available for Wednesday night’s regular-season finale against the Detroit Pistons.
The Cavs also signed guard Dahntay Jones, who has appeared in 43 games (39 starts) for the Grand Rapids Drive of the NBA D-League.
Jones averaged 15.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 35.7 minutes for Grand Rapids. He was originally selected as the 20th overall pick out of Duke by the Boston Celtics in the 2003 NBA draft, Jones has played in 622 games (157 starts) over his 11-year NBA career, averaging 5.4 points and 1.7 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game with Memphis, Sacramento, Denver, Indiana, Dallas, Atlanta and the Los Angeles Clippers. He will be eligible for the playoffs.
