Cavs G Jack out 10 days


Cleveland Cavaliers guard Jarrett Jack, who was acquired as a free agent in the offseason, has chondromalacia in his left knee and will be out about 10 days, the team announced Monday.

Chondromalaciais an inflammation of the cartilage under the patella. Jack played for the Golden State Warriors last season,where he averaged 12.9 points and 5.6 assists.

Also, an MRI revealed Cavaliers guard Carrick Felix has a mild sports hernia. No timetable has been established for his return.
