Cleveland Cavaliers forward Shawn Marion is out two weeks with a strained hip.
An MRI revealed a strained left hip on Monday when Marion returned to Cleveland for the exam. He said the injury bothered him earlier in the season.
Coach David Blatt said Marion is receiving less playing time because he was not healthy, not because of a change to the rotation.
“It’s about the bigger picture,” Marion said last weekend. “That’s how I look at it — the light at the end of the tunnel. I just want to get back to 100 percent healthy.”
