The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without rookie forward/center Tyler Zeller for their game Wednesday night and possibly longer.

Tests indicated that Zeller suffered a fractured cheekbone and a concussion during the fourth quarter of Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Because Zeller sustained a concussion, he was placed under the NBA’s protocol process for head injuries and will continue to be evaluated by team medical personnel. There was no indication when he might be cleared to play, the team said.

The Cavaliers face Golden State on Wednesday night.
