Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng returned to the emergency room Sunday morning and will not play in Monday’s Game 1 of the series against the Miami Heat, CSN Chicago reported.
According to the report, Deng had complication in connection with his spinal tap and did not travel to Miami.
Deng missed both Game 6 and Game 7 of the series against the Brooklyn Nets, and apparently will miss his third straight game Monday.
Deng averaged 16.5 points and 6.3 points during the regular season, and averaged 13.8 points in his five postseason games this year.
Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich is listed as questionable for the game because of a calf injury.
