Winless Tampa Bay promoted wide receiver Chris Owusu from the practice squad and released veteran wide receiver Kevin Ogletree as the Buccaneers begin to shake up their roster after starting the season 0-4. Safety Ahmad Black was waived.

Ogletree signed as a free agent but multiple drops cost him his job as the Buccaneers’ slot receiver.
During the bye week, the Buccaneers are expected to add another receiver to replace Black on the roster. Tiquan Underwood, who played at Rutgers for coach Greg Schiano and was with the team last season and again in 2013 training camp, is the most likely street free agent to sign.
Black was mostly a backup safety and special teams player. He was at least partially to blame for the broken coverage that gave the Arizona Cardinals life in the fourth quarter of their eventual comeback 13-10 victory at Raymond James Stadium.t
