The Cleveland Browns waived tight end Anthony Ezeakunne and wide receiver Shane Wynn on Monday.
The team also terminated the contracts of linebackers Everette Brown and Moise Fokou, running back Jalen Parmele and defensive back Aaron Ross.
The cuts were not a surprise, although Fokou started 12 games for the Tennessee Titans in 2013.
Wynn, a rookie out of Indiana, caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Johnny Manziel in the Browns’ 11-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the second preseason game.
The Browns’ roster is currently at 84 players and must be reduced to a maximum of 75 players by 4 p.m. ET Tuesday.
