The Milwaukee Brewers have agreed to a one-year deal worth reportedly $18.25 million with free agent catcher Yasmani Grandal, according to MLB.com. The deal is contingent on Grandal passing a physical.

Last season with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Grandal, 30, hit .241 with 23 doubles, two triples, 24 home runs and 68 RBIs in 440 at-bats. Grandal, a switch-hitter, hit a career-high 27 home runs with the Dodgers in 2017.

Grandal is one of the top hitting catchers in baseball, but he’s struggled defensively at times throughout his career.

He was an All-Star in 2015, his first season with the Dodgers.
