Atlanta Braves right-hander Brandon Beachy is scheduled to visit Dr. James Andrews after having an MRI on his pitching elbow, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Friday.

The results of the MRI are not immediately known. Beachy came back from Tommy John surgery this year and has made five starts. He is 2-1 with a 4.50 ERA.

Mike Minor will start in place of Beachy on Sunday against the St Louis Cardinals.

Beachy, 26, has a career 3.23 ERA in 46 starts.
