The Buffalo Bills named Rob Moore, who spent the past four seasons as the wide receivers coach for Syracuse, to the same position on Thursday.
Moore, 45, will enter his first season in the NFL coaching ranks, joining head coach Doug Marrone’s staff.
Prior to his coaching stint at Syracuse, Moore was the wide receivers coach for Phoenix Junior College in 2009.
Moore, a 12-year NFL veteran, was the first overall pick of the New York Jets in the 1990 NFL Supplemental Draft. He spent five years with New York (1990-1994) and seven with the Arizona Cardinals (1995-2001). In 1997, he led the NFL in receiving yards (1,584).
