The Chicago Bears signed tight end Kevin Greene to a one-year contract and waived injured tight end Brian Vogler on Wednesday.
Greene entered the NFL in 2014 as an undrafted free agent out of USC with the San Francisco 49ers. He spent parts of last season on the practice squads of the Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers.
Vogler, who injured his foot Monday in practice, signed with the Bears as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Alabama.
