The Bears signed running back Shaun Draughn to a one-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.
The 6-foot, 205-pounder has appeared in 20 games over the past three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs (2011-12) and Baltimore Ravens (2013), rushing for 235 yards and two touchdowns on 63 carries.
Draughn played in three games for the Ravens last season, rushing for two yards on four carries. He was later released and signed with the Indianapolis Colts but played in no games.
Draughn also has caught 24 passes for 158 yards, averaged 23.6 yards on 25 kickoff returns and recorded four tackles and one forced fumble on special teams.
Draughn entered the NFL with the Washington Redskins in 2011 as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina.
