The Chicago Bears will speak again with three candidates for their head-coaching job, ESPN.com reported Tuesday.
The Bears are interviewing for a second time Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, Montreal Alouettes head coach Marc Trestman and Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed that Bevell and Seattle defensive coordinator Gus Bradley were doing second interviews.
Bradley is one of the candidates for the Philadelphia Eagles’ head-coaching opening.
ESPN.com reported that Trestman visited with the Bears on Monday and that the team also has met with Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Tom Clements and Houston Texans offensive coordinator Rick Dennison.
Bevell is familiar with the NFC North, having worked as Minnesota’s offensive coordinator from 2006 to 2010 and as an assistant with Green Bay before that.
The Bears fired coach Lovie Smith on Dec. 31, one day after the team finished with a 10-6 record but missed the playoffs.
