Oakland Athletics right-hander Jarrod Parker lost his arbitration case, according to reports Saturday.
Parker, 26, will receive an $850,000 salary for 2015, CBSSports.com reported. Parker was seeking $1.7 million.
Parker, who missed the 2014 season after undergoing a second career Tommy John surgery last March, isn’t expected to make his return until the second half of the year.
In 2013, Parker was 12-8 with a 3.97 ERA in 32 starts over 197 innings.
