WHAT’S AHEAD: Troy goes from facing an air-it-out offense to a triple option attack when Navy comes to town next Saturday. The Trojans showed no signs of stopping the Midshipmen last year in a 42-14 loss and must try to adjust to a different style of offense in just a matter of days.

–Troy had a 101-yard rusher (Shawn Southward), two 100-yard receivers (Eric Thomas, Chip Reeves) and a 393-yard passer (Corey Robinson). The last time Troy had a 300-yd passer/100 rusher/100 receiver game: Jan. 6, 2010, in GMAC Bowl v. Central Michigan: Also a loss.

–WR Cordarrelle Patterson had 219 yards receiving on nine catches, the most against Troy since it went Division I-A (2001).

–Troy allowed a school-record 718 yards against UT. The worst four defensive games in Troy Trojans history: 718 yards (vs. Tennessee), 668 (Fla. International 2010), 663 (Florida 2009), 617 (Howard/Samford 1961).

KEEP AN EYE ON: LB Devon Terry — The senior started in place of Kanorris Davis and had seven tackles. There’s a good chance he’ll remain the starter for the rest of the season.

LOOKING GOOD: QB Corey Robinson — After a tough game last week, Robinson threw for 393 yards, hitting 30 of 46 passes for a touchdown and no interceptions. It’s clear he has moved past his concussion, at least performance-wise. Backup Deon Anthony also looked good, throwing for 103 yards and two touchdowns.

STILL NEEDS WORK: Troy’s entire defense, which gave up more than 700 yards for the first time in school history. The Trojans were out of place all game long.

QUOTE TO NOTE: “If you had told me we were going to score 48, I would have told you we were going to win by three or four scores.” — Troy coach Larry Blakeney, to the Dothan Eagle, after the Trojans’ 55-48 loss to Tennessee.
