Dart-to-Harris Wins a Wild Shootout for Ole Miss

It was a game that had already provided more offensive fireworks than faint-of-heart fans could stand.

Each offense had over 600 yards total offense. Each had more than 30 first downs. Each had a runner with over 100 yards and at least one touchdown. Each had two receivers with more than 100 yards receiving. Each team had scored in every quarter and 13 total touchdowns were already on the scoreboard.

But, it all came down to this.

There was less than a minute left in the game. LSU, which had led 49-40 earlier in the fourth quarter, was clinging to a 49-47 lead, but Ole Miss had the ball at the LSU 13-yard line. There was time for one more heart-stopping play.

Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart threw a 13-yard catch-and-run to wide receiver Tre Harris who carried it into the end zone. The two-point attempt was successful. With just 39 seconds remaining, it was 55-49, which was the final score.

That last-minute, go-ahead touchdown reception has been chosen as the U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish “Catch of the Week.”

For the game, Dart completed 26 of 39 passes for 389 yards with no interceptions and four touchdowns. Harris caught eight passes for 153 yards including the game-winner.

In a losing cause, LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels completed 27 of 36 passes for 414 yards and four scores.

Remember … for the tailgate tent or the pre-game party, U. S. Farm-Raised Catfish is always “the winning catch.”

The Catfish Institute, or TCI, was formed in 1986 by catfish farmers and feed manufacturers to raise consumer awareness of the positive qualities of U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish. Since its formation, U.S. per capita consumption has more than doubled.

U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish is a sustainable and environmentally friendly seafood product. The National Audubon Society, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Environmental Defense all recommend U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish as a safe environmental choice. To find out more, visit www.uscatfish.com.
