Penn State confirmed on Sunday what had been feared following Saturday’s 27-10 loss to Temple — that linebacker Nyeem Wartman-White will miss the rest of the season with an injury.

The school did not disclose the nature of the injury, but reports Saturday indicated it was a leg injury.

The school released a statement, which read: “Coach (James) Franklin asked the public support and respect Nyeem and his family’s privacy.”

Wartman-White, a redshirt junior, had 75 tackles last season, which was second on the team.
