Quarterback Braxton Miller of Ohio State, considered a Heisman Trophy candidate before he missed the 2014 season because of right shoulder injury sustained in August, might return to the Buckeyes after all.
Miller is a senior and can transfer without having to sit out a year, and has been speculation that he might be heading to Florida State, Oregon or LSU.
However, when Ohio State celebrated its national championship with a rally at Ohio Stadium on Saturday, Miller sounded like he wasn’t going anywhere.
“Privilege and honor to be part of this team,” Miller told the fans. “Guess what, we’ve got another year to do it. So go Bucks.”
Miller would have to beat out Cardale Jones, who took the Buckeyes to the national championship after injuries sidelined Miller and J.T. Barrett.
