The San Francisco Giants became the most recent team to meet with free-agent left-hander Jon Lester on Monday.

Giants manager Bruce Bochy reportedly was in Atlanta, Lester’s hometown, to help in the recruiting as well.

Lester reportedly is also being pursued by his former team, the Boston Red Sox, as well as the Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals.

The Cubs reportedly have offered at least $135 million over six years, while the Red Sox started at $120 million and are thought to be willing to pay $130 million.
