Joshua Cribbs agreed to a contract with the Indianapolis Colts, who will announce the deal with the three-time Pro Bowl return specialist Tuesday.
Cribbs, 31, worked out for the Colts last week. He has been out of the NFL for one year, last playing with the New York Jets in a six-game stint last season.
Cribbs played for the Cleveland Browns from 2005-2012, primarily as a return specialist and in special packages as a wide receiver or Wildcat quarterback. The college quarterback made Cleveland’s roster as an undrafted free agent and has 11 career returns for touchdowns (eight kickoffs, three punts).
