Auburn up to No. 3 in AP poll

Auburn moved ahead of Alabama for the No. 3 spot in the Associated Press top 25 poll.

No. 1 Mississippi State and No. 2 Florida State remained on top of the poll. The Bulldogs received 45 first place votes while the Seminoles grabbed the remaining 15 votes.

Mississippi State and Florida State are the only unbeaten teams in the poll. They are both 8-0.

Alabama fell to No. 4 and Oregon rounded out the top five.

Auburn moved up after beating Mississippi on Saturday. The Rebels dropped from seventh to No. 12.

TCU, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Kansas State and Baylor made up the rest of the top 10.
