Alec James – Noteworthy – Transaction
DE Alec James was signed by the Buccaneers to the practice squad Wednesday (Dec. 19). He had been released by the Steelers from the practice squad Dec. 4. James (6-3, 272) originally entered the NFL as a college free agent with the Arizona Cardinals following the 2018 draft. He spent this past offseason and preseason with the Cardinals and spent time on Arizona’s practice squad this season.

Farrington Huguenin – Noteworthy – Transaction
DE Farrington Huguenin was signed by the Buccaneers to the practice squad Wednesday (Dec. 19). He had been released by the Cardinals from the practice squad Sept. 25. Huguenin (6-4, 268) originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Miami Dolphins in 2016. He spent the 2016 offseason and preseason with Miami before being waived. He was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2017 offseason and spent the 2017 season on the team’s practice squad. He spent this past offseason and preseason with the Steelers and was on Pittsburgh’s practice squad for the first 13 weeks of this season.

Jeremiah Ledbetter – Noteworthy – Transaction
DT Jeremiah Ledbetter was signed by the Buccaneers from their practice squad Wednesday (Dec. 19). Ledbetter (6-3, 295) has spent this season on Tampa Bay’s practice squad. Ledbetter originally entered the league as a sixth-round pick (205th overall) of the Detroit Lions in the 2017 draft. He played in all 16 games for Detroit in 2017, recording 14 tackles, a half sack and a blocked field goal.
