Alabama wide receiver DeAndrew White’s availability for Saturday’s SEC West showdown against Ole Miss will be a game-time decision.
White suffered a shoulder injury in the season opener against West Virginia and missed the next two games. White returned for the win over Florida on Sept. 20, but coach NIck Saban said White suffered a “sprained toe” in the game.
Saban acknowledged the latest issue during his radio show Thursday night, saying that the White has “been a little unlucky when it comes to injuries.”
Saban said White should be available Saturday as No. 3 Alabama faces No. 11 Ole Miss.
“He has practiced some (this week), and I think he will be available to play,” Saban said. “I just don’t know how much he’ll be able to play in the game. We’re hoping to spot play him, but it’ll probably be a decision we make in the pregame depending on how he’s moving around.”
Despite missing two full games, White is second on the team in receptions with 12 and fourth in receiving yards with 121.
