The Detroit Pistons announced Thursday the signings of center, Hasheem Thabeet, forward Brian Cook, guard Lorenzo Brown and guard Josh Bostic. Terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
Thabeet was the second overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. Thabeet has averaged 2.2 points and 2.7 rebounds per game playing for Memphis, Oklahoma City, Portland and Houston.
Cook is a nine-year NBA veteran who has played with the Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets and Washington Wizards.
He has averaged 5.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game in his career.
Brown was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round in the 2013 NBA. He played for the Philadelphia 76ers last season and averaged 2.5 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.
Bostic played last season for the Elan Chalon of the French League. He was named the 2008-09 NCAA Division II Player of the Year after leading Findlay University to a 36-0 record and a national championship.
