
The Dallas Mavericks re-signed center Bernard James to an undisclosed contract on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-10 James was drafted by the Mavericks with the 33rd overall pick in 2012. Since hen, he averages 2.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 0.6 blocks and 7.9 minutes in 76 career games with Dallas.
James is a former Staff Sergeant who served six years in the Air Force, including three tours to Iraq, Afghanistan and Qatar.
As a senior at Florida State, James averaged 10.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game.
