
Veteran right-hander Josh Roenicke signed a minor-league deal with the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday, according to MLB.com.
The former major leaguer spent most of this season with the Washington Nationals’ Triple-A team, posting a 4-6 record with a 5.45 ERA in 23 games (15 starts) spanning 79 1/3 innings. He pitched in four games for the Nationals and had a 10.80 ERA in 3 1/3 innings.
The 32-year-old was with the Minnesota Twins in 2013, going 3-1 with a 4.34 ERA and one save in 63 games. He has a lifetime 8-3 record with a 4.17 ERA and two saves in six major league seasons for the Cincinnati Reds, Toronto Blue Jays, Rockies, Minnesota Twins and Nationals.
