The Cincinnati Bengals signed fourth-round draft pick, center Russell Bodine, on Friday, the team announced.
Bodine is only the third player in franchise history whose rights the Bengals obtained by trading up in the draft. He was taken 111th overall after the Bengals sent the No. 123 and 199 picks to the Seattle Seahawks to grab Bodine.
Bodine played multiple positions on offensive line at the University of North Carolina, including guard. Bengals coaches consider Bodine a candidate to start at center.
NFLDraftScout.com ranked Bodine the No. 177th overall prospect and 11th among guards.
The Bengals have signed five of their eight draft selections.
