The Denver Broncos signed free-agent defensive tackle Marvin Austin on Monday.
Austin (6-foot-2, 312 pounds) has played in 11 NFL games with the New York Giants (2011-12), Miami Dolphins (2013) and Dallas Cowboys (2013). He has recorded 10 tackles (7 solo).
The Giants selected Austin in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2011 draft out of North Carolina. He spent his rookie season on injured reserve before playing in a career-high eight games in 2012.
