
The Cleveland Cavaliers signed guard Scotty Hopson to a contract, the team announced Monday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Hopson averaged 7.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 21.6 minutes over 12 league games this year with Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketball League. He also played in 11 Euroleague games for Anadolu Efes, averaging 15.5 points on 62.5 percent shooting and 4.2 rebounds in 28.2 minutes.
Hopson played three NBA Summer League games with the Miami Heat last year, averaging 11.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 22.0 minutes.
Hopson was an undrafted rookie free agent in 2011 out of Tennessee. He spent the 2011-12 season with Kolossos Rodou of the Greek League and 2012-13 with Hapoel Eilat of the Israeli League.
