The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to a one-year deal with safety Nate Allen on Monday.
In 16 starts last year, Allen had 82 tackles, five pass breakups, a sack, a forced fumble and an interception.
Allen will likely be the team’s third safety behind Malcolm Jenkins and Earl Wolff this season.
In four NFL seasons, Allen has 262 tackles, 25 pass breakups, three sacks, two forced fumbles and six interceptions over 59 games played.
The Eagles selected Allen in the second round of the 2010 draft out of South Florida.
