Pitcher Randy Wolf agreed to a minor-league contract with the Seattle Mariners that includes an invitation to spring trainer, according to a report on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old Wolf missed the 2013 season after undergoing Tommy John elbow surgery in September 2012. Wolf, a starter throughout his career, is willing to shift to the bullpen as tries to make a comeback, The Seattle Times reported.
The left-hander pitched in 30 games and started 26 for the Milwaukee Brewers and Baltimore Orioles in 2012, posting a combined 5-10 record with a 5.65 ERA in 157 2/3 innings.
Wolf broke into the majors in 1999 with the Philadelphia Phillies and has a 132-117 career record with a 4.20 ERA in 376 games (368 starts) for the Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers, Houston Astros, Brewers and Orioles.
